Hey dude, I know this might be a little complex but I’d still want to ask, how do you brighten darker videos so well without losing quality? When I do it it looks wack. Could you perhaps tell me the program you use / any tips / links for tuts or something like the settings for it? Especially for dark blue ish colors. Sorry, I really don’t wanna be a bother but this would help me a ton, the videos I edit for me become even more unenjoyable when I try to brighten them :/
I use Davinci Resolve. You can get a free version. This is quite complicated software; it’s top professional and does the magic.
The trick is to brighten only the luma channels, not the chroma. When you brighten both the luma and chroma channels, you get the color deviations.
If you opt for Davinci Resolve, you can use many tutorials on YouTube. It will be impossible for me too explain here.
